Thursday Feb 09, 2023
Thursday Feb 09, 2023
In honor of Everything Everywhere All At Once continuing to kill it on the Oscars campaign trail, we wanted to go back to where it all started for Daniels: their 2016 film, Swiss Army Man (HBOMax).
This episode starts off with a quick chat about how this episode came to be (0:07), before we dive into the farting corpse movie that is Swiss Army Man (05:11).
Topics include: why this is Daniel Radcliffe’s best performance, the wonderfully weird vibe of a Daniels movie, and of course, all of the farts.
We tease next week’s episode at the end if you listen to those things (1:03:12).
In the meantime, let us know what you think about Swiss Army Man (if you must), and don't forget to subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts!

Thursday Feb 02, 2023
Thursday Feb 02, 2023
Surprise! Last week, we said we were doing an episode on M. Night Shyamalan, but as you’ve probably figured out by now, that didn’t happen.
We still love the guy, but in a twist worthy of one of his endings, M3GAN (2023) dropped on streaming out of nowhere and we never looked back.
This episode starts off with a quick chat about the shocks and snubs of the Oscar nominations (0:06), before getting into M3GAN (09:06).
We keep our conversation spoiler free since it’s still out in theaters, but be warned that we do get into spoiler territory eventually (18:37).
Topics include: why all parents should see this movie, our pitch for the sequel(s) and what would happen if M3GAN fought Gabriel.
We tease next week’s episode at the end if you listen to those things (53:01).
In the meantime, let us know what you think about M3GAN (if you must), and don't forget to subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts!

Then, we get into Office Christmas Party (15:56), which technically isn’t so much of a Christmas movie, but it’s a great time regardless. After that, we discuss Krampus (47:55), which surprisingly has a ton of Christmas spirit.
We tease our next episode at the end if you listen to those things (01:24:41).

Thursday Dec 08, 2022
Thursday Dec 08, 2022
This week, we’re talking about Adam McKay’s hilarious but powerful comedy about the end of the world: Don’t Look Up (Netflix). This movie was pretty divisive, but we think it deserves more credit than it’s been given, so naturally we’re here to defend it.
We start off the episode by talking about a couple of things that happened last week (0:08), including the Cocaine Bear trailer and Mike Flanagan ditching Netflix for Amazon.
Then, we get into our discussion of Don’t Look Up (7:12), where we break down all the things this movie is doing as well as the insane amount of talent in every scene.
Topics include: what made us laugh, cry + stop to think, this might be Jonah Hill’s best performance, and if this movie will prove to be more accurate with every passing year.
We tease next week’s episode at the end if you listen to those things (56:16).
