It’s officially the f***king holidays, so we’re back with a merry little double feature: Office Christmas Party (2016) + Krampus (2015).

Don’t Look Up

This week, we’re talking about Adam McKay’s hilarious but powerful comedy about the end of the world: Don’t Look Up (Netflix). This movie was pretty divisive, but we think it deserves more credit than it’s been given, so naturally we’re here to defend it. 
We start off the episode by talking about a couple of things that happened last week (0:08), including the Cocaine Bear trailer and Mike Flanagan ditching Netflix for Amazon. 
Then, we get into our discussion of Don’t Look Up (7:12), where we break down all the things this movie is doing as well as the insane amount of talent in every scene.
Topics include: what made us laugh, cry + stop to think, this might be Jonah Hill’s best performance, and if this movie will prove to be more accurate with every passing year.

This week, we’re defending a movie that everyone’s been hating on: Don’t Worry Darling (2022). We were surprised with how much we liked this movie, so we wanted to spread the good word since it’s now streaming on HBOMax.
As always, we talk about what we’ve been watching recently (0:07), including Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities (Netflix).
Finally, we try to contain our love for Florence Pugh while discussing Don’t Worry Darling (17:45). We keep it spoiler-free for the first part of our chat, but we do end up getting into the spoilers and twist ending later on (31:47).
