The Horror Villain Fantasy Draft

This week, we decided to mix things up + celebrate the start of football season with a fantasy draft of our own... but instead of drafting players, we are drafting horror movie villains for the ultimate versus matchup!

The Mummy (1999) + The Mummy (2017)

This week, we're talking about two very different movies called "The Mummy". The 1999 + 2017 versions might share the same name, but I think we can all agree that one is good and the other is TRASH.
As always, we start out by talking about what we've been watching this week (1:50). Then, we discuss all the ways The Mummy (2017) failed, jumping the gun on the Dark Universe, and the Tom Cruise of it all (14:09).

This week, we're jumping head first into spooky season with this absolutely killer double feature: Sinister + The Black Phone!
 
Join us as we discuss what we've been watching recently (1:00), before getting into these incredible movies that were both directed by the great Scott Derrickson, and feature classic performances by Ethan Hawke. 
 
We discuss the clever storytelling and poor character decisions in Sinister, (12:00) and then get into The Black Phone (44:00) with some talk about creepy kids + terrifying masks, with a very lively debate about masked performances.

Zoolander + Crazy Pills

This week, we're getting orange mocha frappuccinos + perfecting our blue steel looks for one of our favorite movies of all time... Zoolander!
